DONALD TRUMP last night tweeted a picture of the dog he said helped kill Daesh leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — but insisted its name remains classified.
The US president said the terror chief blew himself up along with three of his children after he was chased into a tunnel by dogs attached to special operation forces in northern Syria on Saturday.
He said one of the dogs, reportedly called Conan and said to be recovering after surgery, was injured. Mr Trump posted a picture of a healthy looking Belgian malinois in a canine combat vest.
‘We have declassified a picture of the wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the Leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi!’ he tweeted.
It prompted a mixed reaction with some commentators referencing the Zero Dark Thirty mission to kill Osama Bin Laden — but calling it ‘Zero Bark Thirty’.
