Your rottweiler’s stuck on the woof

COOPER the rottweiler stares down from the roof of his home, not sure what to do.

The mischievous mutt pushed his way through the skylight — only for it to slam shut behind him. A neighbour spotted him and alerted owners Micki Pickford, 20, and her dad Mark, 53, who were in a local pub.

Micki, from Bristol, said: ‘He’s always going where he’s not allowed, but normally he just gets into the fridge — he’s never been on the roof.’

While waiting for firefighters to arrive, Mark managed to lean out of the skylight, while Micki held his ankles, and he hauled Cooper inside. They have now put a bolt on the attic door to keep Cooper grounded.

The new family pet… a bot-weiler

A SMALL robotic pet that can recognise faces is going on sale in the UK this week.

Cozmo has an artificial intelligence-powered ‘emotion engine’ and scans its surroundings and people in it, responding to facial expressions and playing games.

It can be trained to do tricks as well as change its mood and can be controlled via a smartphone app.

Mark Palatucci of makers Anki said they wanted the human relationship with Cozmo to be natural and organic so it ‘becomes part of the family’.

Designed with the help of animators and games developers, it will cost £200.
