William and Kate share sweet photos of their birthday boy prince as he turns one

ONE-YEAR-OLD Prince Louis looks his daddy’s double in adorable photographs to mark his birthday today.

Pictures released by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge show their third child playing in the garden of the family’s Norfolk home.

The fun-filled snaps, taken by his mother Kate earlier this month, reveal that little Louis has s-miles of his father’s features — with a winning grin, dark eyes and rosy cheeks.

And Prince Louis Arthur Charles, who was born at 11.01am on April 23 2018 — St George’s Day — weighing 8lb 7oz, also bears a striking resemblance to his older brother, George, at a similar age.

The casual portraits display Louis’ first two teeth and show his parents’ fondness for traditional baby clothes — with a dog-themed hand-knit jumper sure to be a sell-out.

Meanwhile action shots of the little prince sending the grass flying appear to back up his mum’s suggestion of a boisterous young boy.

Last month Kate revealed during a visit to a children’s centre that Louis liked to be on the move. ‘He just wants to pull himself up all the time. He’s got these little walkers and is bombing around on them,’ she told a fellow parent.

Louis, who is fifth in line to the throne, is great-grandchild of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and a younger sibling of Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, who is four next month. His name pays tribute to the Prince of Wales’s great-uncle, Earl Mountbatten, who was murdered by the IRA. He was last pictured in a family photograph at Christmas — again taken in the garden at Anmer Hall.
