Voyeur who put camera in Starbucks loo is spared jail

Caught on film: Antony Dines installs the camera PICTURE: ME POLICE/PA

A VOYEUR who hid a camera above a Starbucks toilet to satisfy his fetish for watching women urinate has been spared jail.

Antony Dines was caught after footage of him installing the matchbox-size device at the branch in Vauxhall, south London, was discovered on the camera in November last year.

The 31-year-old had hidden another camera in the women’s toilet in New Malden business centre, where he works for a law firm, and was arrested last month with a rucksack containing small cameras, memory cards ‘and nine pairs of women’s underwear’, Camberwell magistrates heard.

Dines, of Kingston upon Thames, admitted four counts of voyeurism. He received a 12-month community order, 200 hours of unpaid work, a £170 fine and has to stay on the sex offenders’ register for five years.
