A BRITISH honeymooner with coronavirus is feeling ‘well’ after being moved from a quarantined cruise ship to hospital in Japan.
Newlyweds Alan and Wendy Steele were holidaying on the Diamond Princess, which is being held in Yokohama’s port after 61 people on board tested positive for the virus. Mr Steele, from Wolverhampton, was taken to hospital on Friday.
‘Alan is well, Japanese doctors are excellent,’ said Mrs Steel. ‘It was a hard first night without Alan. But hey, we are constantly in touch. He is in safe hands.’
