TV To Go: What to catch this week

Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events

Neil Patrick Harris returns as the dastardly Count Olaf (yes, that is him under the bald pate and side whiskers, above) to polish off those dastardly Baudelaire brats (we’re kidding) in the final instalment of the visually fantastical adaptation — it’s all very Grand Budapest Hotel — of Lemony Snicket’s much beloved books. The series is available now.

Comedians Of The World

Clear the whole day and plunge into this stand-up comedy extravaganza featuring no less than 47 half-hour comedy specials from almost all corners of the globe, including Brazil, India and Saudi Arabia. Brits on display include Ellie Taylor and Joel Dommett (pictured above). All episodes are available now.

Escape At DannEmora

In all the flurry of new dramas over the Christmas period, this Sky Atlantic one might have escaped your notice but it’s packing some high-wattage star power. Ben Stiller directs a seven-part story based on a true-life prison break in New York state in 2015 and draws top-end performances from a cast that includes Benicio del Toro and a magnificently frumped-down Patricia Arquette (above). The box set is available now.
