A GREAT-GRANDAD of 83 is wheel-y proud of his title of world’s oldest trucker.
And Richard Henderson has no plans to surrender the wheel after nearly 60 years in the cabs of HGVs.
‘I just enjoy driving. If you sit in the house you’d just sleep,’ said the widower, who is in the Guinness Book of World Records.
His boss in Selkirk, Scottish Borders, is his son Elliot, who said: ‘I wouldn’t let him drive if I didn’t think he was safe.’
