NOW that life is slowly returning to normal, many are taking stock of their lockdown experience. What worked, what didn’t and where there’s room for improvement — and 41 per cent of women say they are ‘unhappy’ with their sex life.
Research on sexual activity during lockdown by online marketplace OnBuy found that almost half of couples isolating together had less sex, and it’s not just the frequency that’s a problem but the quality. Three in five women think their love life needs ‘spicing up’.
That’s where recently launched The Selection Box comes in handy (mantra: ‘It’s Time To Own Your Moan’). It’s a £75 subscription box of sex toys, which can either arrive discreetly through your letter box every three months, or as and when required. Alongside heterosexual couples, it also caters for same-sex partners and single people too. Hurrah!
If you’re after more of an intellectual thrill, check out free mindful sex app Ferly. It’s an audio guide that brings people who identify as female together to lift the lid on their sexuality through sessions, workshops, quizzes and sexy stories. Just plug in your noise-cancelling headphones.
