A JEREMY KYLE guest was found dead in a suspected suicide after ‘growing concerned about the repercussions of the show’, an inquest heard.
Steve Dymond, 63, died a week after failing a lie detector test on the show, which has since been axed.
Two letters, one addressed to his estranged son Carl and the other to his fiancée Jane Callaghan, were discovered near his body alongside packets of medication, Portsmouth coroner’s court heard.
Mr Dymond had split with Ms Callaghan and he had been kicked out of the house following allegations he had been cheating.
Det Sgt Marcus Mills, of Hampshire Police, told the inquest: ‘Steven had mentioned they were going to go on the Jeremy Kyle show for a lie detector test to get everything sorted.’ He told his landlady ‘things didn’t go well’, Det Sgt Mills added.
The inquest was adjourned until November.
