THE Queen beamed as she paid a visit last night to the garden created by the Duchess of Cambridge at this year’s Chelsea Flower show.

The 93-year-old monarch appeared rapt as Kate talked about her Back To Nature exhibit at the London event.

And there were further smiles all round as the duchess and the Queen — both dressed in florals — shared a joke with Prince William.

Her majesty’s seal of approval came after Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis had played at the site.

Other royal visitors included Prince Andrew and his daughter Princess Beatrice, as well as Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

Earlier in the day, Kate also welcomed local schoolchildren, who toasted marshmallows on an open fire. Speaking to teachers, she was heard to say: ‘It’s really important the kids start to understand nature, and care for it… With Instagram, everything is so visual. It’s nice to sit and feel.’
