PRINCESS CHARLOTTE has been seen down the pub in south London.
But, rather than ordering a bottle of stout and a pickled egg, it seems the three-year-old just needed the loo.
Her mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, took her to the Phoenix in Stockwell after she got caught short as they were being driven down the busy A3.
One customer joked: ‘It just goes to show that the royals are like any other family. When your kids need to go to the loo, they got to go!’
Pub staff and Kensington Palace declined to comment on the unofficial royal visit but customers said it took place at 1.45pm on Thursday last week.
A royal protection officer entered first to check the loos before the mother and daughter got out of a Range Rover.
Regular Maggie McKinney, 76, said: ‘Someone went up to the bar and asked if the wee girl could go to the toilet and then in they came. The little kiddie just trotted in with her mum, went to the toilet and then trotted out. They seemed very nice, totally normal. Kate was holding her daughter’s hand. Charlotte was just any other little girl.’
