The home Peter Andre made for himself after he split from wife Katie Price

OF all the odd couplings, friendships and bromances that have formed since the first parade of I’m A Celebrity… contestants set up camp in the Australian jungle in 2002, none has been more fascinating than the pairing of Peter Andre and Katie Price — then known as Jordan.

Flung together for the third series in 2004, they flirted outrageously and so began a high-profile relationship that led to marriage and two children, Junior and Princess. But in June 2009, the couple split and Peter moved out of the family home in Surrey, and headed for Brighton.

Here he picked a luxurious six-bed contemporary house with great views and loads of room for the kids — and grown-up entertaining.

Entered through a glazed porch (inset), it’s filled with natural light pouring in through floor-to-ceiling windows, and has a vast, L-shaped living room with a wow-factor central glass fireplace visible from all sides. And the showbiz touches continue — a door in one corner opens into a cognac room.

The kitchen/dining room is beautifully designed, with a huge central island, granite worktops, integrated appliances and a spacious dining area. A half-height wall separates it from a family area that looks out into the garden. The master bedroom suite, which fills the second floor, includes a walk-in wardrobe, a sleek en-suite shower room and a freestanding bathtub on a marble-tiled plinth. There are five more bedrooms on the first floor plus a handful of bathrooms and a study that could be a seventh bedroom.

No celebrity home is complete without a pool, and here you have the choice of a heated outdoor swimming pool, a plunge pool and a Jacuzzi. There’s also a sauna, which can be accessed from the garden.

Peter moved on in 2010 and is now married to Emily, a doctor. He hasn’t lost his appetite for gorgeous homes — he’s frequently showcased his own in reality shows, magazine spreads and on Instagram, he’s hosted 60-Minute Makeover on Sky since 2013 and he’s launched a line of luxury beds called A By Andre. He has now bought a Surrey mansion, which he shares with Emily and their children.

And the Brighton house? It’s now for sale with Hamptons International, at £2.25million.
