THE mother of a teenager stabbed to death near Prince George’s school says he was a ‘lovely son’ who was ‘turning his life around’.
Lejean Richards, 19, was knifed in a car park in Battersea, south-west London, on Tuesday.
Witnesses said two friends carried him to the family’s flat nearby. His mum Lavern Joseph said: ‘He will be sorely grieved by all that knew him.’

Lejean, a Domino’s delivery driver, had spent time in jail but planned to return to college, according to a friend, who added: ‘It’s a tragedy he couldn’t see that through.’
The crime scene is close to Thomas’s Battersea, where Prince George is a pupil. Three men, aged 19, 20 and 27, have been held on suspicion of murder.
Lejean is the third teenager to be stabbed to death in London this year.
