TWITTER is poking fun at the perils of dating life with the Dating Twitter Advice Bureau, which takes cringe-worthy tweets and turns them into hilarious installations. The pop-up in London’s Covent Garden celebrates the funniest, most mortifying dating stories and cringe-worthy confessions, and runs until Sunday. There’s even a gift shop if you’re into strange (and real) Valentine’s Day gifts, including a bag of dirt.

Spotify for sprogs

Fed up with sharing your Spotify account with the kids? The streaming platform gets it and has launched its Spotify Kids app (iOS/Android) in the UK, giving them their own accounts to play ad-free Bieber as many times as their little hearts desire, while your sanity remains intact. You’ll need a Spotify Premium Family subscription to listen to age-appropriate tunes, soundtracks and stories.

Virus cancels Mobile World

Shockwaves in the tech industry this week as the GSM Association said it had cancelled Mobile World Congress — the industry’s biggest mobile phone show — due to concerns about coronavirus, now called Covid-19. Exhibitors including Sony, Amazon and Intel have said they are pulling out. The event was due to be held in Barcelona between February 24 and 27.
