STARS of Line Of Duty have resumed filming for the BBC series’ sixth season — at a social distance.
Vicky McClure and Martin Compston shared a behind-the-scenes snap as they got back to work. The cast will be adhering to strict protocols after a six-month break amid the coronavirus pandemic.
McClure — who captioned the pic ‘Hello mate’ — said: ‘Been sitting on these incredible scripts for some time now, so I’m really looking forward to getting back to it and seeing the Line Of Duty family.’
Showrunner Jed Mercurio said: ‘We know fans are desperate for series six and we hope we can get it on air as soon as possible.’ It will see regulars including Adrian Dunbar reprising their roles for a new police corruption case, investigating a detective played by Kelly Macdonald.
