A STALKER cut himself a copy of the key to his victim’s flat and let himself in to watch her sleep, a court heard.
Stuart Cosgrave, 45, repeatedly got into the woman’s flat and once climbed into bed with her, Portsmouth crown court was told.
Prosecutor Jeffrey Lamb said the frightened woman ‘woke up thinking someone was rubbing her head’ before finding Cosgrave in her bed.
Some of her underwear was also found at his home.
Cosgrave, who was known to his victim, was given the key for a short time but ‘breached her trust’ by making a copy of it without her knowing, the court heard. His victim ‘continues to feel unsettled’.
Cosgrave, from Southsea, admitted stalking. He was handed a two-year restraining order, told to do 40 rehabilitation activity days and fined £120.
