ROSES are red, violet, blue and yellow this Valentine’s Day as Morrisons launches a bloom for everyone.
The rainbow rose has been created in partnership with LGBTQ+ youth homeless charity The Albert Kennedy Trust. Morrisons will donate 50p from every £4 dyed rose it sells to the charity, which provides safe homes and support to young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bi or trans.
The rainbow is used worldwide to symbolise Pride in the LGBTQ+ community. Drew Kirk, produce category manager at Morrisons, said the roses ‘have been designed to celebrate love’. They are available from Monday.
