VENEZUELA’S opposition leader Juan Guaido has called on outside nations to consider ‘all options’ to resolve his country’s crisis.
His comments, hinting at potential military involvement, echo ones from the US which, along with the UK and EU, recognise him as interim leader.
It came after president Nicolas Maduro’s troops fired tear gas and buckshot on activists trying to deliver aid in clashes that left two people dead and 300 injured.
Mr Guaido (pictured) was due to meet US vice president Mike Pence in Colombia yesterday about the crisis.
