Reveller left blind in one eye after club ‘acid attack’

A WOMAN hurt in a suspected acid attack at a nightclub has been left blind in her left eye, police said.

The 22-year-old was among 20 people who suffered burns when a noxious substance was sprayed over clubbers at Mangle E8 in Dalston, east London.

The victims also included model Isobella Fraser, also 22, a cousin of ex-Premier League footballer Jamie O’Hara.

Two people, aged 24 and 29, remain seriously ill and are being treated at a specialist burns hospital in Essex.

The Met Police yesterday arrested a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of firearms offences following raids on addresses in Hertfordshire.

But detectives are continuing to hunt Arthur Collins in connection with the attack. The suspect, 25, is the boyfriend of TV personality Ferne McCann.

The 26-year-old ex-Towie star, has disowned her partner since he was named as a suspect and has urged him to turn himself into police.

Twelve people were taken to hospital following Monday’s attack, which is said to have been triggered by a dispute between two groups of revellers.

Scotland Yard is also investigating two similar acid attacks. A man, 18, suffered potential life-changing injuries in an attack in Fulham, south-west London, on Wednesday. A man was also hurt in Bow, east London, on Good Friday.
