CRISTIANO RONALDO has reportedly been ordered to give a DNA sample to detectives in the US investigating a rape.
The former Manchester United footballer, 33 (pictured), has been accused of attacking former teacher Kathryn Mayorga in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009.
Ms Mayorga, 34, alleges she was forced to sign a $375,000 (£294,000) out-of-court settlement but came forward after being given ‘courage’ by the #MeToo movement against sexual assault.
Detectives will test the DNA to compare it with a sample found on Ms Mayorga’s dress, according to the TMZ website.
Ronaldo denies all wrongdoing and is co-operating with the authorities. He said last year: ‘Rape is an abominable crime.’
