FOUR people, including two children, have been shot dead in what police described as a ‘family drama’.
Initial reports said three people — an off-duty police officer and his daughters aged eight and 12 — had been killed in the Dutch city of Dordrecht, near Rotterdam, on Monday.
But yesterday they revealed a 27-year-old woman, believed to be the policeman’s estranged partner, died in hospital from injuries sustained in the attack.
Detectives suspect the officer was the gunman. While they have not identified the victims, police yesterday said the shooting was ‘believed to be a family incident’.
A home in the Heimerstein district of the city, where the shooting occurred, was under police guard last night. Mayor Wouter Kolff has opened a book of condolences for the victims.
