AIDAN TURNER looks like he’s finally had a chance to try out Cornwall’s famous pasties now the pressures of playing Poldark are over.
The TV heart-throb was almost unrecognisable when he turned up in London to promote the BBC costume drama’s final series.
The 35-year-old Irish star’s clingy casuals revealed he has ditched the famous six-pack, most famously observed in scenes showing a shirtless Ross Poldark scything fields along the Cornish coast.
Turner’s grooming regime seemed to have also gone out of the window as he unveiled a bushy beard to go with his beefed-up arms.
The fifth and final series of Poldark will be shown later this summer.
Screenwriter Debbie Horsfield has said it will be set in the ‘gap years’ between the seventh and eighth of Winston Graham’s novels about the character.
