PREVIOUSLY unseen photos of The Beatles at the seaside as they made the Magical Mystery Tour comedy film have come to light.

The snaps were taken by a travelling salesman who was staying in the same hotel as the Fab Four in Newquay, Cornwall, in 1967.

The unnamed fan snapped George Harrison with two women in bikinis and Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr by a tour bus.

The 15 photos and a signed letter sold for £2,700 in Lincoln. Daryll Kirk, of Unique Auctions, said: ‘They make a unique piece of British rock history.’ The BBC screened the film in December 1967. An EP, including the song I Am The Walrus, was also released.
