Ordine! Ordine! Now John Bercow’s an Italian speaker…

It’s the way he tells ’em: John Bercow appears on Italian TV

JOHN BERCOW has been entertaining Italians with his ‘Order! Order!’ catchphrase as he adjusts to life after the House of Commons.

Mr Bercow has signed up with an after-dinner speaking agency since stepping down in October and was a guest on Italian TV chat show Che tempo che fa on Sunday.

The hosts asked the ex-speaker to repeat his catchphrase in Italian, and he bellowed out ‘Ordine! Ordine!’ — to the delight of the studio audience.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Mr Bercow was paid up to £60,000 to appear as lead pundit on Sky News’s election night show where he clashed with Nigel Farage over not yet being offered a peerage.
