Wolves just not a Jota on Telford
TOP-flight players winding down their careers in non-league is almost a thing of the past these days.
But there could be an opening for one Wolves star as a player-manager down the footballing pyramid once he is done with the Premier League.
Diogo Jota has been passing the time during the coronavirus outbreak by playing video games.
And he has not been afraid to get his hands dirty in National League North with a nearby non-league club. ‘I happen to be training Telford United on Football Manager. I’m already in 2029,’ revealed the 23-year-old.
It may be a while yet but the Bucks will be watching with interest.
