New Valentine street art in Bristol could be a Banksy

BANKSY could be the artist behind some Valentine’s Day-themed street art which has popped up in his home city Bristol.

The mural, which appeared on the side of a building in the Barton Hill area overnight, features a little girl firing vibrant red petals with a catapult.

Overnight success: Neighbours woke up to the art

Bristol Somali Community Association tweeted yesterday: ‘We woke up with this remarkable art painted on one of the houses of the area. We hope it’s Banksy’s work. Whoever painted it, it’s worth admiring their creativity.’

Banksy often confirms his work by posting images online. However, the Bristol piece had not appeared yesterday.
