Nathalie Emmanuel’s throne into more diverse role

GAME OF THRONES star Nathalie Emmanuel loves her new TV job on the Four Weddings And A Funeral mini-series, because it has a more diverse cast.

In a parting snap at GoT bosses, she said it was ‘safe to say’ the fantasy world drama had been criticised over a ‘lack’ of diversity as her character Missandei and co-star Jacob Anderson’s Grey Worm had to ‘represent so many people, because there’s only two of them’.

The star, 30, said of her new job: ‘As a person of colour, you generally feel more supported when there are other people who look like you around, so that was a lovely experience.’
