THE Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed all’s fair in love and sport when they joined opposing teams for a netball hoop shootout.
The royal couple were at Loughborough University yesterday attending an awards ceremony for Coach Core, a Royal Foundation sports programme to inspire young people who are out of either work or education.
Meghan lined up alongside tennis star Laura Robson and England netballer Eboni Beckford-Chambers, while on Harry’s team were ex-athlete Paula Radcliffe and ex-England batsman Mark Ramprakash. Both teams included Coach Core graduates.
Harry’s team came out on top but afterwards he had a consoling cuddle for his wife, who was dressed in a top by Oscar de la Renta, trousers by Altuzarra and stilettos.
The visit came as Sport England awarded the Royal Foundation a £995,500 National Lottery grant to add ten new Coach Core sites in England over the next three years.
