MEGHAN’S ex-husband has married the daughter of a multi-millionaire ‘toxic loans’ financier.
Trevor Engelson tied the knot on Saturday with Tracey Kurland — whose father Stanford made a fortune through risky mortgages that helped spark the financial crash of 2008.
Nutritionist Ms Kurland, 31, wore a simple white lace dress, while Mr Engelson, 42, sported a pink suit. At the reception guests played giant Jenga, with the happy couple’s names engraved on the bricks, at Rosewood Miramar Beach resort in Montecito, California.
The Hollywood producer — married to Meghan from 2011 to 2013 — proposed last June after a year of dating.
Ms Kurland’s father helped devise and market ‘subprime’ mortgages sold to low-income borrowers. He cashed in £150million of shares before the crash — then bought back loans at a fraction of their original value.
