‘Little princess’ killed on same death-trap road

‘Happy little pud’: Keira Ball died in hospital PICTURE: APEX

A NINE-year-old girl died the day before the crash that killed a mother and her twins after an accident on the same road.

Keira Ball was injured in a collision on Sunday on the A361 near West Buckland — eight miles from the crash that claimed the lives of James and Amy Gaskin and mum Jane.

Keira died on Tuesday afternoon. Her mother Loanna and brother Brad, seven, are still in hospital in a serious condition.

Keira’s father Joe said he had ‘fantastic memories’ of his ‘happy little pud’.

He said: ‘She would light any room she entered and save any disgusting bug as they are all God’s creatures. Many a time we would find a collection of snails and insects in her bedroom which she was saving from predators.’

He said it was heart-breaking that he would not be bringing his ‘little princess’ home again, adding: ‘They are going to find some poorly children that she can make better by giving them her organs. As that is what she would have wanted.

‘There is going to be a massive hole in our lives.’
