LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK’S footballer fiancé Andre Gray ‘does not give a toss’ about her wedding planning and is aiming to just turn up.
The self-confessed bridezilla is perfectly happy with the arrangement as it means she will be able to have everything just how she likes it.
Talking to Guilty Pleasures about her big day, Leigh-Anne spilled: ‘I’m pretty much full steam ahead with this. I have literally been planning it since I was a little girl.
‘I have already apologised for how I will be in the year to come… I’m going to be a bridezilla.’
As for what the bridegroom has in mind, the Little Mix singer said: ‘Honestly, he does not give a toss about this whole process. He doesn’t care about the colours or any of this stuff. I like it that way.’
Andre, 29, who plays for Watford, popped the question during a cinema night at home during lockdown.
And with the pandemic throwing a spanner in the works, Leigh-Anne thinks it’ll be two years before they tie the knot. ‘I can plan and take my time with it,’ said the 28-year-old. ‘Obviously in such an uncertain time I don’t want to be too hasty.’
Meanwhile Little Mix have been shooting a video for their track Holiday, out today, and Leigh-Anne says the set resembled a clinic.
‘Everyone had to wear PPE,’ she explained. ‘We are all just needing a holiday. So the fact that we are releasing this song is amazing.’
After recently opening up about the racism she has endured, Leigh-Anne hopes the messages from Black Lives Matter cast a long shadow. ‘I hope it’s not just a moment, I am very happy that we are finally having this conversation,’ she said. ‘It doesn’t feel awkward any more to talk about it.’
