KYLIE JENNER has been accused of cashing in on the pandemic after her skincare brand launched a $7 (£5.15) hand sanitiser.
The beauty mogul, 23, tweeted: ‘My Kylie Skin hand sanitizer is here!! White heart 80% alcohol, fast drying, and formulated with glycerin to prevent dryness!’
The ad caused an online backlash from fans, with comments such as: ‘Wow making a buck off covid. Low.’ Another person wrote: ‘Let’s profit off a pandemic.’
But others said they were looking forward to buying the product, including Kylie’s mother Kris Jenner, 65. She wrote on Twitter: ‘So many incredible benefits in this product. I love it!’
Kylie, who sold her majority stake in Kylie Cosmetics for $600million (£441million) in November last year, was declared the richest celebrity of 2020 by Forbes after earning an estimated fortune of £434million.
But earlier this year the model donated $1million to healthcare workers in Los Angeles.
