A PROPERTY developer has told of the terrifying moment thugs stabbed him in the arm to grab his £115,000 watch in Mayfair, London.
Bo Khan was knifed by three men in broad daylight as he walked in Berkeley Square with his wife Karen.
Brave Mrs Khan chased the robbers before the couple flagged down a car which tailed the gang but lost them on a side street.
Describing how the Breguet Tourbillon watch was snatched on the last day of a trip to the capital last June, Mr Khan said: ‘It was done with military precision. They ran from behind.
‘One grabbed my arm, stabbed me in the elbow and dragged me to the ground by the wrist and another grabbed my watch. They slashed my arm to cut tendons and paralyse me. They didn’t manage it [cut the tendons] so I grappled with them.
‘They obviously thought the watch was worth stealing but whether they knew its true value, I doubt it.’ The 55-year-old, from Manchester, said a watch was dropped during the attack and he handed it to police.
Mr Khan said: ‘It has made me feel anxious and my friends have said I’m quite a different person but I have recovered from my injuries.’ He and Mrs Khan, 56, have since had counselling.
Police yesterday released CCTV footage of the men fleeing with the rare watch, which has not been recovered.
They said it appears the suspects, men in their 30s, of Mediterranean appearance and medium build, targeted the victim specifically for his watch.
