TWO men have been charged after allegedly holding a knife to a baby’s throat in a terrifying daylight robbery.

The raiders burst into the property on Cheswick Close, Coventry, on Monday morning armed with a craft knife.

Two women were in the house with a three-year-old and a ten-month-old baby at the time.

West Midlands Police said the thieves held a blade against the baby’s throat while demanding the women hand over valuables before making off with cash and jewellery.

The pair were arrested by armed officers while in a car on the M40 at 7.50pm on Monday and were charged with robbery.

Joshua Juggan, 24, of Alvey Street, Southwark, and Malik Ragnatt, 21, of Bensham Lane, Croydon, were set to appear before Coventry magistrates today.
