JOHN McDONNELL took an extraordinary swipe at Boris Johnson’s personal life in the Commons — bringing up his infamous row with his girlfriend in the summer.
The shadow chancellor was heckled loudly by the prime minister during his response to Sajid Javid’s spending review.
He hit back by saying: ‘Mr Speaker, I believe the honourable member for Uxbridge [Mr Johnson’s constituency] is shouting at me. Last time he was shouting at someone, they had to call the police.’
Neighbours summoned officers after hearing the row between Mr Johnson and Carrie Symonds at their south London home in June.
