JO SWINSON has vowed she will not be bullied by online trolls as she hit the campaign trail.

On a visit to Somerset, the Liberal Democrat leader said: ‘If you speak to any woman in public life, or people of colour, or gay people or people with disabilities, people from those groups will face more abuse because we still live in a society that doesn’t have equality.’

But she added she would not ‘be bullied out of standing up for what I believe in’ and would continue to fight for change.

Ms Swinson, keen to push the party’s green agenda, lit a fire and toasted marshmallows with children at an eco-friendly nursery.
