LOS ANGELES RAMS quarterback Jared Goff felt ‘terrible’ after failing to perform on the biggest night of his life.
The Rams high-powered offense led the NFL in points-per-game over the past two years but became just the second team in Super Bowl history not to score a touchdown as they lost 13-3 to the New England Patriots.
Goff, 24, was befuddled by the Patriots’ gameplan on defense and threw a critical late interception just as his team began to fight back.
‘It’s the toughest loss I ever had,’ said the former No.1 draft pick (pictured). ‘It kills. It’s terrible.
‘I wish I would have played better. I wish I could have a million plays back.’
Rams coach Sean McVay added: ‘I’m pretty numb right now but definitely I got outcoached.’
