TWO teenage girls who tortured another girl and broadcast it via social media have been jailed.

Chyane Stephenson-Dielhenn, 18, and a 16-year-old held their victim hostage in a care home in Dagenham, Essex, for more than eight hours in March.

The 16-year-old victim was made to swallow her own vomit and eat urine-soaked noodles. The pair also burned her with cigarettes. They posted videos on Snapchat and were sent other torture suggestions. The victim escaped when she was ordered to shower.

Stephenson-Dielhenn, of Islington, north London, denied false imprisonment and assault but was found guilty and jailed for three years at Snaresbrook crown court. The 16-year-old, of Tower Hamlets, east London, pleaded guilty and was jailed for two-and-a-half years.

Elaine Cousins, from the Crown Prosecution Service, called it a ‘sadistic’ attack by people the victim ‘considered to be friends’. She said the girl was ‘psychologically scarred’.
