A YOUNG Liverpool fan who knocked himself out while waving at striker Mohamed Salah was stunned when the concerned star visited his home.
Louis Fowler (pictured), 11, and his brother Isaac, ten, were outside the Reds’ Melwood training ground on Saturday to catch a glimpse of their heroes.
When Salah’s Bentley pulled out, Louis ran after the car in the hope of getting a wave. But in his excitement, he ran into a lamppost, ending up unconscious with a broken nose.
Salah (pictured), 27, turned his car around and drove to the street where the youngster lives to check if he was alright and pose for pictures.
Louis’s stepfather Joe Cooper called the Egyptian Premier League star ‘a top bloke’ and said he was ‘really apologetic and saying sorry for something that wasn’t his fault’.
‘Mo asked if the boys were all right and gave them a big hug which was what they both needed. They were made up and Louis forgot all about being injured,’ he added.
Louis was later taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to have his nose re-set but was otherwise uninjured.
