DASH IT! This is the moment a naked rambler ran for cover when two women crossed his path on a countryside walk.
Keen photographer Louise Yates, 57, snapped the bizarre encounter before the nude walker darted into the bushes.
She and a friend had gone on a lunchtime walk when they came across the naturist on the South Downs near Brighton.
‘I was walking up to Devil’s Dyke, and we took a right turn to Saddlescombe Farm,’ said Ms Yates.
‘This guy was walking towards us. I said, “Look! Look!” He saw us, he saw my camera around my neck, and he just darted in the bushes.
‘We laughed. I felt a bit awkward, but we are grown ladies. I like to have my camera at the ready.’
She said this was the first time she had seen a nude walker on the path. ‘He was brazen. All he had on was his bag and trainers. He had his clothes over his arm.’
Ms Yates added: ‘The whole area is full of trees and bushes so he had plenty of hiding places. My friend is from Denmark so it didn’t faze her in the slightest.’
