Harrison Reed sure Fulham have no fear

FULHAM midfielder Harrison Reed has hit back at Emiliano Marcondes after the Brentford star stated the Cottagers should ‘fear’ the Bees tonight.

Marcondes’ (pictured) claim comes after his side won both Championship games with their local rivals this term, during which Scott Parker’s men have failed to score.

Asked if Fulham are fearing Thomas Frank’s side, on-loan Southampton man Reed said: ‘Not at all. We’re ready, we’re prepared, going into games with confidence, we’ve been in great form of late. We know if we turn up on the day we can get the job done.’

Reed says his team, who were only separated from the third-placed Bees by goal difference in the table, grew in last week’s tough semi-final, second leg against Cardiff.

‘We can take confidence from the performance and the grit we showed,’ he added. ‘It was a different game from the first leg. We had to stand and fight. It was a war we found ourselves in. We’ve shown that when the pressure’s on us we can stand up.’
