GWYNETH PALTROW may be happily married for a second time, but she revealed this week that she has yet to ‘consciously couple’ with hubby Brad Falchuk — in a location sense, at least.
The US actress tied the knot with the TV producer (both pictured) in September after being with him for more than three years, but she told the Wall Street Journal Magazine the pair have yet to actually move in together.
The reason? Their respective kids: her two — Apple, 14, and Moses, 12 — with ex Coldplay husband Chris Martin; and Brad’s pair Brody and Isabella.
‘We are still doing it in our own way. With teenage kids, you’ve got to tread lightly. It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing. I’ve never been a stepmother before. I don’t know how to do it,’ Gwyneth said.
In the same interview, the 46-year-old discussed her ‘super painful’ split from Martin.
While the couple have always maintained an amicable relationship since their spit in 2014 after 10 years of marriage, Gwyneth now admits: ‘I was so raw. It was so hard to be getting a divorce and letting go of this dream, and the public stuff was super painful.’
The exes were ridiculed for coining the phrase ‘conscious uncoupling’ to describe their separation — and another thing Gwyneth has tried to claim credit for, to much mockery from the Twittersphere, is the 5,000-year-old practice of yoga.
Recalling her trail-blazing interest in the spiritual exercise, she said: ‘Forgive me if this comes out wrong, but I went to do a yoga class in LA recently and the 22-year-old girl behind the counter was like, “Have you ever done yoga before?” and, literally, I turned to my friend and I was, like, “You have this job because I’ve done yoga before.”’
As one commenter neatly put it: ‘Gwyneth Paltrow: “I discovered yoga. I did yoga before it was cool. You guys wouldn’t have yoga if it weren’t for me.”
‘Every Indian Person: “……um.”‘
