AFTER getting the green light from the Queen to begin a new life in Canada, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed off in style yesterday.
The couple arrived hand in hand for their last official appearance as senior royals, with Meghan resplendent in a green dress, cape and elaborate hat at Westminster Abbey.
She and Harry looked relaxed as they joined guests including Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie Symonds for a service celebrating the Commonwealth.
Meghan mouthed ‘hi’ and waved to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who sat in the row in front. Winter is less willing than the Sussexes to say goodbye to Britain, but there was at least plenty of spring colour at the abbey, where Kate wore red and the Queen pale blue.
