RAMZ says scoring in the charts is easier than scoring in the bedroom — dating has become a minefield since he hit the big time.
The Barking rapper feels he can no longer tell what women see in him. ‘It comes with success,’ admitted the 22-year-old south Londoner.
‘You’ve got to be careful with the ones you choose to speak to. A lot of things could have a big backlash.’
Ramz is on the brink of even more success with his new single Don’t You Play With Me, feat. LD, and his EP Blockbuster.
‘It’s harder to date… you have a lot of thoughts if a girl is real,’ he exclusively told Guilty Pleasures. ‘Is it they are here for you or for your other stuff? That’s the hardest thing public people have to go through.’
Instead, he is much more chilled hanging out with his new pals from the Arsenal squad. Feeling like an honorary Gunner, the star revealed: ‘I performed there the other day. They were putting me on their stories and I was messaging them saying, “Thank you so much”.
‘It was one of the most exciting times I’ve ever had. My headline shows are coming up and I’ve invited a couple of them and they are going to come.’
Schmoozing is the most satisfying thing about success, he said, finishing: ‘All the meeting of the celebrities in the scene, whether that’s in football or in music.
‘Me meeting them is my boyhood dream. A footballer that plays for Arsenal is what I’ve dreamed of. It just makes you pinch yourself.’
