GHISLAINE MAXWELL has admitted recruiting women to give billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein massages ‘at least once a day’.
In newly released court papers, the socialite — who introduced Epstein to Prince Andrew — told how she managed the American businessman’s homes around the world and hired ‘lots of people’. But she denied procuring young girls for him to have sex with.
Ms Maxwell said she knew Virginia Roberts Giuffre was 17 when she started massaging Epstein.
But she said Ms Roberts Giuffre’s claims of being forced to have sex with the Duke of York and Epstein were ‘lies’. The duke has also denied having sex with Ms Roberts Giuffre.
Ms Maxwell outlined her role in a video statement to a New York court in a libel action brought by Ms Roberts. The case was settled out of court.
She said: ‘My job included hiring many people. There were six homes. I hired assistants, architects, decorators, cooks, cleaners, gardeners, pool people, pilots.
‘A very small part of my job was to find adult professional massage therapists for Jeffrey.’ Asked how many times Epstein would get a massage, she added: ‘On average once a day.’ The court papers came to light as a former friend of Ms Maxwell told The Sun Online she had a new boyfriend. ‘One of her talents is finding a man to take care of her,’ Laura Goldman said.
‘It’s like a super power. All she ever talked about was “sex, sex, sex”.’
Monday’s BBC Panorama interview with Ms Roberts Giuffre has been extended to an hour instead of 30 minutes.
