From the horse’s mouth: Rematch Mai be special

BRISTOL DE MAI and Lostintranslation remain on course for a fascinating Haydock rematch after both were declared for tomorrow’s Grade One Betfair Chase.

Colin Tizzard’s Lostintranslation denied the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Bristol De Mai (pictured) a hat-trick in a thrilling renewal of the contest 12 months ago and is a narrow favourite to repeat the feat.

The field is made up by Clan Des Obeaux, from the yard of Paul Nicholls, Sandy Thomson’s Bellshill and Warren Greatrex’s outsider Keeper Hill. The race is live tomorrow on ITV.
