A WOMAN who claims Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh exposed himself to her when they were students at Yale has agreed to co-operate with an FBI investigation.
Deborah Ramirez, 53, revealed that agents had asked to interview her after the president called for the probe into the judge’s background to be reopened.
It comes after Christine Blasey Ford, 51, told a dramatic Senate judiciary hearing last week that she feared for her life during a sexual assault by Mr Kavanaugh (pictured), 53, when they were teenagers.
The committee — where the all-male Republican side have a majority — voted on Friday to support the judge’s appointment to the highest court in the land.
But Senate leaders have delayed the final vote on his selection to allow time for the FBI probe, which will be limited to ‘current credible allegations’ and must be completed by Friday.
Mr Trump’s team have said the sex claims are part of a Democrat plot to stop the conservative being chosen. He has said the probe could turn out to be a ‘blessing in disguise’ by absolving Mr Kavanaugh.
