FANS have been snapping up the Duchess of Sussex’s charity cookbook.
Sales of the recipes — supplied by women who came together following the Grenfell Tower disaster — have ‘considerably increased’ in recent days, Amazon UK told Harper’s Bazaar.
Meghan put the women’s work at the Hubb Community Kitchen back in the spotlight last week when she visited with Harry and put photos on Instagram. And Twitter user Damon Evans later started a campaign for people to show support for the couple by buying the book, amid the furore over them quitting as senior royals.
The kitchen project began when women made homeless by the Grenfell Tower blaze in west London began meeting to cook for their families and other survivors.
Meghan wrote the foreword for the book, proceeds from which help the project continue to feed people in need.
