Ex-JLS singer ‘raped fan at hotel until she fled crying’

FORMER JLS singer Oritse Williams raped a ‘zombified’ female fan in his hotel room after plying her with booze in a nightclub, a court heard.

The star (above) attacked the woman as she told him ‘no’ and ‘get off’, it was claimed.

Jamien Nagadhana, his tour manager, is accused of joining in. The alleged victim told police she lay down ‘like a dead body’ in an attempt to bring the ordeal to an end.

‘I felt just worthless,’ she said. ‘I was pushing him away, I shoved him with my legs. I wish I had pushed him off more harder. He didn’t stop until I started crying, I just got my stuff and left.’

‘Crime scene’: The alleged victim claims Williams raped her at the Ramada Hotel

Williams met the woman and two of her friends after giving a solo performance at Gorgeous nightclub, Wolverhampton, in December 2016, the city’s crown court heard yesterday. He gave them free drinks as they partied in the VIP section.

After one ‘blacked out’ and had to be put in a taxi home, he persuaded the others to go with him and Nagadhana to their room at the Ramada Hotel, the court heard. Prosecutor Miranda Moore QC said a hotel worker who saw the group arriving said the women seemed ‘spaced out and looked zombified’.

After taking them up to the room, Williams, 32, tried to have sex with one but both made it clear they were not interested and fled, it was claimed.

The alleged victim then realised she had left her phone and made the ‘grave mistake’ of going back, Ms Moore said. Williams allegedly raped her on a bed as Nagadhana sexually assaulted her.

Williams told police that the sex was consensual. He said he had problems performing due to drinking and the woman got annoyed. He added: ‘I’m the artist. I think both of them, they both kind of wanted to be involved with me.’

He said Nagadhana did not get involved and was asleep. Williams, of Croydon, south London, denies rape. Nagadhana, also 32, of Hounslow, west London, denies a sexual assault charge. The trial continues.
