‘Drink-drive’ Katie Price is held after crash in her pink 4×4

KATIE PRICE was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving yesterday after her pink Range Rover crashed at 2am.

The star, 40, had been at the birthday party of ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson when the car went into a bush in Woolwich, south-east London, the Sun reported.

A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘At about 2am, British Transport Police officers came across a car showing signs of damage, stationary at the roadside in Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich.

‘A 40-year-old woman inside the car was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving. She was taken to a south London police station, where she remains.’

Boyson, who celebrated his 30th at a restaurant in nearby Bexleyheath, arrived at the police station in Plumstead before his ex was released later in the day.

The Range Rover was driven off by a friend of Price, who completed a six-month driving ban in August.

The Loose Women panellist was disqualified in February for speeding after clocking up 12 penalty points. And in July she was caught at the wheel of a car in breach of the ban.

A first-time drink-drive offence can lead to jail but typically only if there are aggravating factors such as if the driver was carrying passengers, caused a serious accident or had an extremely high alcohol reading.

Mum-of-five Price checked in to rehab last month after her family confronted her over allegations of drink and drug binges. Doctors at The Priory diagnosed the ex-glamour model with co-morbid post-traumatic stress disorder, triggered when she found out her mother Amy has a terminal lung condition.

She has also had to deal with the breakdown of her marriage to Kieran Hayler, 31.

Amy said recently: ‘Kate has been her own worst enemy at times but she has been tearing herself apart for years. To see what she is going through and how she has been treated hurts me.’
